2-10-2009 12:25amThe past week, my roommates and I decided to have a "movie night." I know that sounds quite homosexual but thats okay because its our favorite comedy of all time and we decided to make an exception with the movie being Super Troopers. The tag line of the film is "You don't mess with the law. The law messes with you" so of course you know hilarity ensues.
The film begins with three college kids on a road trip to visit Canada for some "french fries and gravy" or so they say but their fun comes to a premature halt when they are pulled over by two Vermont State Troopers. Little did the college students know, they were in for a ride of their lives because these were no ordinary officers of the law.
The film focuses on five state troopers who enjoy devising new ways to prank civilians way more than they enjoy enforcing the law. The plot is about how they actually have to become legitimate police officers or something close to it if they want to retain their jobs because they are on the verge of being shut down.
